Chami Endorsed by the DeKalb Building & Construction Trades Council
Dear Editor,
Only when a candidate running for office clearly exhibits the qualifications and experience needed for office does the DeKalb County Building and Construction Trades Council (DCBT) vote for an endorsement. DCBT voted unanimously to endorse Sarah Gallagher Chami as our candidate of choice for DeKalb County State’s Attorney.
The DCBT is an alliance of 17 craft unions that work together to improve relationships and create harmony among its member organizations. The DCBT strives to improve the quality of life and job opportunities for over 8,000 members throughout DeKalb County.
Ms. Chami has demonstrated through her experiences and accomplishments that she has the confidence, intellect and broad-based capacity necessary to lead her fellow public servants, both elected and appointed, in one of the most critical public offices in our county. DeKalb County will be well positioned with Ms. Chami as State’s Attorney to address increased challenges to the security and safety of our families, communities, schools, and businesses.
Please join my fellow members and me in marking your ballot for Sarah Gallagher Chami as DeKalb County’s Democratic Candidate for State’s Attorney. Don’t be left out in the cold for the February 2, 2008 Primary Election. VOTE EARLY
